Introductory Activity 🚀

Teacher asks students:

  • “What freedoms do you enjoy at home or school?”

  • Students share their ideas.
    Teacher links responses to the concept of rights and introduces the topic Fundamental Rights.

 Activity 1 – Group Discussion 👥

  • Students are divided into small groups.

  • Each group is given a situation (example: child labour, discrimination, freedom of speech).

  • Students discuss which right is related to the situation.

  • Groups present their answers.


Activity 2 – Chart Work 🎨

  • Students prepare a simple chart listing the six Fundamental Rights.

  • They write one example for each right.

  • Charts are displayed in the classroom.

Concluding Activity ✅

Teacher summarises:

  • Fundamental Rights protect the freedom and dignity of citizens.

  • Rights help maintain equality and justice in society.

 Follow-up Activity 📝

  • Students write a short paragraph on “Why Fundamental Rights are important in our life.”

  • Students collect newspaper examples related to violation of rights.
