K Kelappan


K. Kelappan (1889-1971), also known as Kakkad Kelappan, was a social reformer, Gandhian leader, and freedom fighter from Kerala who embodied the principles of simplicity, equality, and service. Deeply influenced by Mahatma Gandhi's ideals, Kelappan worked tirelessly for social justice, fighting against untouchability and promoting harmony among different communities. His commitment to Gandhian principles led him to participate actively in India's freedom struggle.

Kelappan's work in Kerala focused on social reform, promoting education, and empowering marginalized communities. His legacy reflects the values of non-violence, equality, and social service, continuing to inspire people in Kerala and beyond .
